What's the difference between GripMate 1 and GripMate 2?
GripMate 1 is our original loop grip — ultra-thin, lightweight, and perfect for one-handed use with a comfortable silicone loop and strong N52 magnets. GripMate 2 builds on that foundation and adds a new any-angle kickstand, dual-sided magnetism (sticks to metal surfaces), and an upgraded silicone grip. If you want the essentials, go GripMate 1. If you want the full experience, go GripMate 2.
Is GripMate compatible with my phone?
GripMate attaches via magnetic backing and works with any phone that supports MagSafe or PixelSnap. It also attaches to most phones with a flat back using the included adhesive ring. Compatible with iPhone 12 and newer with built-in MagSafe support, and with most Android phones using the adhesive ring.
How strong is the magnetic hold?
Both GripMate 1 and 2 use performance-grade N52 magnets — the strongest neodymium rating available in consumer products. They provide a firm, shake-proof hold during normal use while still allowing easy one-handed removal when you need it.
Will GripMate interfere with wireless charging?
Yes, GripMate should be removed before using wireless charging. Since GripMate attaches magnetically through MagSafe, it can slip off easily without scratching, harming, or damaging your phone. Once removed, you can place your iPhone directly on your MagSafe or Qi wireless charger as usual.
What colors are available?
GripMate 1 is available in Black, Blue, Glitter Pink, Pink, Purple, Silver, Glitter Silver, and Cosmic Orange. GripMate 2 is available in Silver, Gold, Black, and Orange. All colors ship from the US via Amazon fulfillment.
