All three attach magnetically and all three give you a secure one-handed hold — the difference is what else they do. GripMate 1 is the original: an ultra-thin loop grip on an aluminium base, the most pocketable of the three. GripMate 2 keeps that loop and adds a flip-out aluminium kickstand that holds at any angle, plus dual-sided magnets so it also sticks to flat metal surfaces. The GripMate Ring is the glitter option, with a soft silicone finger loop, a 360° rotating inner ring and a 0–120° flip stand.

GripMate attaches magnetically and works with any phone that supports MagSafe or PixelSnap — iPhone 12 and newer, Pixel devices with PixelSnap, and any case that already has a magnetic ring. For phones and cases that aren't magnetic, every GripMate ships with adhesive metal rings so you can add a mounting point yourself.

All three use performance-grade N52 magnets — the strongest neodymium rating available in consumer products. They give a firm, shake-proof hold during normal use and still come away one-handed when you want them to.

Take your GripMate off before charging and you're fine. It's held on by magnets rather than adhesive, so it slides away cleanly without scratching or marking your phone and snaps back into the same spot afterwards. Once it's off, use your MagSafe or Qi charger as normal.

GripMate 1 comes in nine: Black, Blue, Pink, Purple, Silver, Wine Red, Cosmic Orange, Glitter Pink and Glitter Silver. GripMate 2 comes in five: Black, Silver, Blue, Amber and Cosmic Orange.
